ĀRT HOUSE 17 & Friends

ĀRT HOUSE 17 is een ensemble onder leiding van Michael Hell. Naast het gebruik van historische instrumenten vindt het ensemble het belangrijk om recht te doen aan de bredere context waarin de muziek oorspronkelijk werd uitgevoerd. De centrale vraag hierbij luidt: wat heeft deze muziek vandaag nog te zeggen? ĀRT HOUSE 17 tekende de afgelopen jaren in Utrecht voor de succesvolle muziektheatervoorstellingen zoals Kaffeekantate en The Crocodile Bar. Het ensemble creëerde ook de Utrechter Passion tijdens het Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2022.
