Dit concert maakt deel uit van het gratis fringeprogramma van het Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2026.


Euphoria Barock bestaat uit drie musici die elkaar ontmoetten tijdens hun studie in Essen en aan het Institut für Alte Musik van de Hochschule für Musik FRANZ LISZT Weimar. Hun samenwerking begon in 2022 met Bachs sonate en groeide uit tot een hecht ensemble. Hun eerste programma, Vermischtes – Europäische Musik im Hochbarock (nu KomPot(t)pourri), werd in 2023 meerdere malen succesvol uitgevoerd. In juni 2025 opende Euphoria Barock het 77e Eifeler Musikfest in de abdij van Steinfeld met For several friends – Early Music from England.
