Fringe: Euphoria Barock
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2026.
Euphoria Barock brings together three musicians who met while studying in Essen and at the Institute for Early Music of the Hochschule für Musik FRANZ LISZT Weimar. Their collaboration began in 2022 with a sonata by J.S. Bach and quickly developed into a close ensemble partnership. Their first programme, Vermischtes – Europäische Musik im Hochbarock (now KomPot(t)pourri), was successfully performed several times in 2023. In June 2025, Euphoria Barock opened the 77th Eifeler Musikfest at Steinfeld Abbey with For several friends – Early Music from England.
