Sollazzo Ensemble
The jester says what no one else dares to say. Between mockery and seriousness, between mask and man, armed with permission to shoot at anything that moves, the jester navigates the boundaries of what is allowable. Sollazzo Ensemble portrays this ambiguous figure with madrigals, ballads, and songs from the 14th century. Playful, sharp, sometimes vicious: here sounds a voice that entertains, disrupts, jokes, and hurts, and which, despite its innocence, is life-threatening.
