Early music goes on tour! The Concert Camper is a genuine concert hall on wheels, which we will set up at various locations in the city centre and the suburbs of Utrecht during the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2026. The music will be provided by the musicians of Ensemble Masques, the initiators of the Concert Camper. Fringe ensembles will also be performing.
The mobile concert space is beautifully decorated: the walls have been painted by students of the École d’Art Mural in Versailles, giving us the impression that we have arrived in an intimate and luxurious art gallery.
With the Concert Camper, we make early music accessible to everyone and offer new encounters between repertoire, artists, and festival visitors. A festival experience outside of classical concert venues, surprising and accessible.
The programme will be announced on August 13.
