Concert season 2024 - 2025
From Monteverdian vocal fervour to Scarlatti's keyboard artistry, and from Gesualdo's passionate madrigals to groundbreaking singing from medieval Paris: you can look forward to fourteen concert tours celebrating a thousand years of music at the most beautiful locations in the Netherlands and Flanders. From now on, Seizoen Oude Muziek goes by the name Festival Oude Muziek Tournees, thereby strengthening the artistic connection with Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht.
As per custom every year, we also organize a mini-festival in Utrecht and Amsterdam during the concert season. This time, the focus is entirely on the English Late Renaissance and Baroque periods. Under the direction of Stile Antico soprano Helen Ashby, you will explore the cosmos of English choral repertoire by singing along during the scratch. To top it off, Vox Luminis will take you into the fairy-tale world of Purcell's The Fairy-Queen, with which they are visiting The Hague and Eindhoven as well.
At the Tournees 2024/2025, you can once again enjoy early music at an affordable price. If you order a location-specific subscription or a flexible subscription of at least four individual concerts, you will receive a 20% discount.
