Oisín Dilger & Lauren Jackson

Two carillonneurs, one keyboard. Lauren Jackson and Oisín Dilger occupy the tower together for a programme in which dance, counterpoint, and song meet. Frescobaldi’s correntes, Scarlatti’s lyrical Largo, and Dowland’s characterful galliards alternate with works by Bach and Ortiz. Music once heard on lute, harpsichord, or violin undergoes a thorough makeover – sometimes as a duet, sometimes solo, always with graceful timbres perfectly tailored to the carillon.
