Emily Worthington & Daniel Grimwood

What happens when curiosity and musicality come together? For clarinettist and researcher Emily Worthington, it leads to sparkling discoveries. Inspired by the 19th-century virtuoso Carl Baermann, she dives into historical playing styles and gives her own fresh twist to the music. In Schubert and Weber, you hear her sense of timing, colour, and adventure. Together with fortepianist Daniel Grimwood, she explores the tension between freedom and precision – with lively, compelling performances that immediately draw you in.
