Fringe: Les Arcanes Baroques
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2026.
Founded in 2024, Les Arcanes Baroques brings together four musicians united by a passion for early music and historically informed performance practice. The ensemble focuses on Baroque trio sonata repertoire while also exploring string quartets from the Classical period and beyond. Having met at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, the musicians are developing a distinctive artistic profile and an international career. In 2025, they were selected for the International Handel Competition in Göttingen and won the Audience Prize at the International B. Marini Competition. They also performed at the Utrecht Early Music Festival.
