Fringe: Camerata Musikuss
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2026.
Founded in Dresden in 2023, camerata musikuss brings together musicians united by a shared passion for the sound world of the Baroque. Performing on period instruments and replicas, the ensemble combines historically informed performance practice with its own artistic perspective. Concert tours have taken them to Italy, France and across Germany. Through varied programmes, engaging presentations and unconventional interpretations, camerata musikuss aims to make Baroque music accessible to a broad audience. Inspired by musicians including Anne Schumann, Luca Giardini and Bernhard Hentrich, the ensemble won second prize at the Biagio Marini Competition for Early Music in 2025.
