Tasto Solo
In the late 15th century Calle Sierpes, today Seville shopping street, was home to the guild of carpenters and violeros: craftsmen specialising in the manufacture of vihuelas and other plucked instruments. Through the lens of the genius harpsichord maker 'Maestre Enrique', and browsing through the music that must have been heard in his workshop, Tasto Solo digs into the roots of the tecla, arpa y vihuela repertoire.
