This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2026.

Brussels-based Japanese harpsichordist Tetsu Isaji performs as a soloist, continuo player and ensemble leader across Europe and Japan. After studying at Oxford and Cambridge, he received the highest distinction for his studies in Brussels with Frédéric Haas and Philippe Zanzu. He has won prizes at competitions including FestiVita! and the Wanda Landowska Competition. Isaji leads Komorebi Consort and has collaborated with musicians including Sigiswald Kuijken and Jos van Immerseel. His fascination with historical keyboards is central to his work, alongside research into instruments and performance practice.
