Fabulous Fringe: Milena Baroian
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2026.
Milena Baroian was born in Yerevan, Armenia, and received her initial musical education in Moscow. She currently studies harpsichord at the University of Music and Theatre Munich with Christine Schornsheim, focusing on historically informed performance practice. She is active as a soloist and ensemble musician on historical keyboards, including harpsichord, organ, clavichord and fortepiano. Alongside performing, Milena has a particular interest in historical theory and source studies. Her artistic development is shaped by the close connection between performance and research within the field of early music.
