Fabulous Fringe: Charlotte Tang
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2026.
Fortepianist Charlotte Tang, a laureate of the 2024 Musica Antiqua Competition in Bruges, is passionate about early 19th-century music and historical instruments. Praised by La Libre Belgique as an “expressive, fine chamber musician,” she performs actively across Canada and the United States. Recent highlights include residencies at the Banff Centre and Orford Musique, and performances at the Cornell Center for Historical Keyboards, HKSNA and Westfield Center. In 2025, she received Early Music America’s Emerging Artist Award. Charlotte holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Toronto.
