Fringe: Quarterino
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2026.
Quarterino brings together four young musicians: Tommaso Simonetta Sandri (traverso & recorder), Lorenzo Molinetti (baroque violin), Antonio Pellegrino (historical cello) and Agata Sorotokin (historical keyboards). Their paths converge through leading institutions including the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, Royal Conservatoire The Hague, Musik-Akademie Basel, Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana and Yale University. Meeting through the European Union Baroque Orchestra, they share a commitment to rigorous, imaginative and historically grounded performance. Quarterino was recently selected as a finalist in the 2026 York Early Music International Young Artists Competition.
