Chiming & bell walk
To mark the opening of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht, the Utrechts Klokkenluiders Gilde will bring the bells of the city centre to life. We will hear the grand peal, featuring all fourteen bells of the Dom Tower, including the enormous bass bell Salvator from 1505. Other bell towers will then join in, creating a veritable relay that spreads across the city. At 12:20 pm, the two bell-walking tours through the city centre will begin, led by expert guides.
