Le Salon: Giovanna Baviera

In the ballroom of Paushuize, Giovanna Baviera accomplishes a task that long seemed impossible: she sings and accompanies herself on the viola da gamba. The music is by Arcadelt, while the words are provided by Petrarca and Mellin de Saint-Gelais. Host Simon Mulder recites and guides the evening along poetic paths.
