About the performers

The French ensemble Les Récréations focuses on four-part harmony and a repertoire spanning 200 years of music, from Palestrina to Mozart. They combine expressivity with thorough research, rediscovering unpublished works and offering new interpretations of masterpieces such as Bach's The Art of Fugue. The ensemble performs in concerts and festivals across France and Europe and has made live radio recordings for France Musique and WDR. Their discography, including the albums Scarlatti - Sonate a Quattro and J.S. Bach - The Art of Fugue, has been unanimously praised and won two Diapason d'Or awards.
