FOMU Zuilen Day

Let yourself be carried away by sounds from times gone by! On Saturday 5 September, the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht will be coming to ZIMIHC Zuilen. Throughout the day, music from the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque periods will be played.
Take a look at the Concert Camper – a mini concert hall on wheels – on the field. Or drop by during one of the concerts in the Theater Zaal or Foyer.
This mini-festival at ZIMHIC Zuilen is free of charge and suitable for all ages. Come and be surprised!

Muziek in de Wijk

Muziek in de Wijk provides music lessons in the Zuilen and Ondiep neighbourhoods. The project helps make music lessons accessible to all children in the neighbourhood. The Muziek in de Wijk orchestra consists of approximately 25 children aged between seven and eighteen. They have rehearsed a number of pieces especially for the Festival Oude Muziek that are appropriate for the festival. But of course they will also play some of their more contemporary hits. Join the children of Muziek in de Wijk on a journey through time.

Step inside a mobile work of art and let yourself be carried away by sounds from times gone by! During the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2025, the Concert Camper will pop up in all corners of the city. This intimate mini concert hall on wheels will surprise you with live music from the Middle Ages, Renaissance and Baroque periods. The atmospheric interior makes every performance an enchanting experience.

The concerts in the Concert Camper last about 20 minutes, are free of charge and suitable for all ages. Come along and be surprised!
