Concert Camper

Concert Hall on Wheels

Early music is hitting the road! The Concert Camper is a true concert hall on wheels, which we will set up at various locations around Utrecht’s city centre and in its surrounding neighbourhoods during Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2025.

The music will be provided by the musicians of Ensemble Masques, the driving force behind the Concert Camper initiative. You will also hear performances by Fringe ensembles.

The mobile concert space is beautifully decorated: its walls have been hand-painted by students from the École d’Art Mural in Versailles, creating the impression of stepping into an intimate and luxurious art cabinet.

With the Concert Camper, we bring early music to everyone, fostering new encounters between repertoire, artists, and festivalgoers. A festival experience outside the traditional concert halls — surprising, accessible, and inviting.
