This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2024.

Michela Amici (1990) received her cum laude Master’s diploma in harp in 2015, at the Conservatory G. Rossini of Pesaro in Italy. She continued her studies at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, where she graduated in both modern and historical harps. Amici completed her post-graduate studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in the class of Flora Papadopoulos. As a basso continuo player she performed in ensembles led by Richard Egarr, Alessandro Quarta, Adrián Rodríguez van der Spoel, Tineke Steenbrink and Leonard Evers, among others. In 2022 she was artist in residence with her harps at the Dutch contemporary music festival Gaudeamus.
