Fringe: ÇOKUS Duo
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2024.
The Çokus Duo consists of Kejsi Çoku (b. 1998) and Ebi Çoku (b. 2000), both of whom were born in Tirana and began studying piano when they were six. Later, they also discovered the harpsichord and fortepiano. Since 2020, they have been studying harpsichord and basso continuo with Michael Hell at the Kunstuniversität Graz. They have performed several times as a duo, including in the opera project Im Fluss. The duo is mainly interested in four-hand repertoire on both clavichord and fortepiano.
