Fringe: Ensemble KIMA

This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2024.

Ensemble KIMA was founded in 2023 on the initiative of Ivana Sofia Ivanovic. It is the fruit of a strong artistic harmony that unites its musicians, nurtured during their studies at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. The young ensemble explores the great vocal repertoires of the fourteenth to sixteenth centuries, emphasising a rhetorically inspired performance marked by theatricality and freedom.
