Fringe: Pointé-Coulé
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2024.
The ensemble Pointé-Coulé was born from the friendship and musical affinity of Marta Jimenez Ramirez (cello), Sevastianos Morinos (harpsichord) and Álvaro Muñoz Perera (violín). Together they started exploring the genre of existing French sonatas en trio. Their musical interests also cover the earliest examples of this same genre found in compositions from Italy, as well as premiering newly composed compositions.
