Fringe: Ekaterina Uvarova
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2026.
Ekaterina Uvarova (1994) is a lutenist and guitarist based in the Netherlands. After earning a master’s degree in classical guitar, she turned to early music and is currently studying lute, theorbo and romantic guitar at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague with Mike Fentross and Joachim Held. She has performed at festivals including the Utrecht Early Music Festival and Musica Antica and regularly works as a soloist and continuo player with ensembles, choirs and orchestras. Her collaborations include Philharmonie ZuidNederland, Hanseatic Ensemble and Jeune Orchestre Baroque Européen. She also creates new repertoire for early plucked instruments.
