In a world where voices are drowned out or ignored, it is not just about expressing yourself, but about taking responsibility for whomever or whatever does not have an obvious voice: people, nature, the future. Breath and sound remind us that everything is interconnected. Whoever listens participates – and cannot remain indifferent. This year, Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht asks us to pause, slow down, and make a conscious choice: who is granted space, and who is not?
