Step-by-step guide ordering tickets online

Internet banking
To buy tickets online you need to have access to Dutch internet banking (iDeal), a credit card or a Podiumcadeaukaart.

Ordering tickets by order form
If you do not have access to the above mentioned methods of paying, you can order tickets by means of the order form included in brochure.

Step 1: tickets and seat selection
Select the desired concert in the festival schedule (for festival concerts) on in de concert calendar (for the Festival Oude Muziek Tournees).

  • Festival schedule: click on the desired concert and then on the 'Order' button
  • Concert calendar: click on the 'Order' button

Choose the required number of tickets by category and price. If you choose the ‘Friend’ rate, you will be asked to fill in your personal Friend code (which entitles you to two reduced-price tickets per concert). In the image below, you can see where you can select the number of tickets and where you should fill in your Friend code.

You are required to fill in your Friend code for every ticket. You can do this quickly by copying (Ctrl+C) and pasting (Ctrl+V) the code in the field. You can see how this works in the video below. If you are also ordering on behalf of other Friend, you may fill in several codes.

Click on the ‘Next’ button. Where applicable, you will now be directed to the seating plan. The best available seats will be assigned to you automatically. These can be changed by selecting other seats. You can zoom in and out by means of the + and – buttons (top right). Click on the ‘Next’ button.

If you donate more than € 80 and you want to order your free ticket for a concert in the Early Music Season, you should select the concert, then check the option 'vriendenvrijkaart' and enter the code that we have sent you by email.

Step 2: confirmation of payment and delivery methods
You will now be shown a summary of your order. Via the ‘change seats’ link you have the opportunity to view and alter the reserved seats. If you wish to remove seats from your order, click on the ‘Trash’ icon. You can select additional concerts via the ‘Continue shopping’ button, which will automatically lead you back to the concert schedule. You can always view your order by clicking on the ‘Shopping cart’ button at the top of the website page.

When you want to finalise the order, click on ‘Next’ (bottom right).

If you have placed an order with us before, your email address will suffice for identification.

Select your preferred payment and delivery method and fill in your email address.

Step 3: identification
If your email address is not yet known to us, we will request some details from you. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. Click on ‘Next’ (bottom right).

Step 4: payment
iDeal: select your bank via the fold-out menu. This will take you to your bank’s log-in page.

Credit card: fill in the details of your Visa or Mastercard and click on ‘Confirm payment’.

You will receive a confirmation of payment via the email address you provided. If you have chosen e-tickets, you can download your e-tickets from this confirmation email. Make sure to bring your e-ticket to the concert in printed form or on your smartphone. If you have chosen to receive the tickets by post, they will be sent to your home address as soon as your order has been processed.

For concerts taking place within five days after ordering, postal delivery is no longer possible, but you can still order e-tickets or make a reservation by telephone.
