Into the Winds
In 1392, King Charles VI of France is declared insane. A fierce battle erupts between rival princes. The result: decades of civil war, the defeat at Agincourt and the transfer of the crown to England. Into the Winds brings this turbulent period to life with forgotten gems from the Ars Subtilior and early Burgundian chansons – a raw, refined and surprisingly contemporary musical journey.
