Stile Antico
Oxford scholar Robert Dow collected his favourite music in a set of handwritten partbooks in the 1580s. Today his collection is one of the most important sources for English Renaissance music. Artist in residence Stile Antico opens the door to this time capsule of motets, anthems and madrigals. A rare glimpse into Tudor domestic music practice, with gems by Tallis, Byrd, White and other British masters.
