Fabulous Fringe: Ymnus

This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2024.

Ymnus is an ensemble founded by the three friends and recorder players Daniel Scott (1995), Juho Myllylä (1996), and Irene Sorozábal (1996). They share a deep passion for medieval music and all studied recorder together. Moreover, they regularly perform together in the well-known recorder ensemble The Royal Wind Music, which has honed their skills as performers on recorder to the highest level. All three musicians also play another instrument (keyboards, lute and voice respectively) and use this versatility to create varied and touching concert programmes.
