Fringe: Entrebescant
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2024.
Entrebescant consists of five colleagues brought together by their love for the Spanish medieval and traditional heritages. Through research and the handling of original sources, they aim to explore the links between oral and written traditions and the contexts and places in which they were developed. During this process, Entrebescant finds social dynamics, lifestyles and values that merit some reflection from a contemporary perspective. In 2023 they have been selected for several major platforms for emerging ensembles in Spain: EcosLabs - Festival de Sierra Espuña, Early Music Morella FRINGE, Dinamizartj and Music in the National Museums of Spain (Musae).
