Enrike Solinís
Not ricercare, but tiento: on the Iberian Peninsula, the strings are warmed up by music without a straitjacket, between étude and improvisation. In Renaissance Spain, Alonso Mudarra published eight tientos in his iconic Tres libros de música en cifra para vihuela, and contemporaries such as Narváez, Cabezón and Milán also put their stamp on the genre. Enrike Solinís leads this tour through a fantasy world where the lute reigns supreme.
