Fringe: Flânerie Duo
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2025.
Originally from Japan, Flânerie Duo consists of violinist Saaya Ikenoya and fortepianist Mako Kodama. Ikenoya moved to Spain at an early age, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in classical violin. She completed a Master's degree in London, after which she turned to historical performance practice and obtained two diplomas in that field as well. Kodama began studying piano in Japan. In 2020, she started to focus specifically on earlier repertoire, and is now studying fortepiano at the Conservatorium in The Hague.
