Fringe: El Ayrecillo

This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2025.

El Ayrecillo features Catalan sackbut player Ramon Marquès and Spanish organist Jaime González-Sierra. Marquès, trained in Barcelona and The Hague, performs with ensembles such as La Caravaggia and Musica Antica and founded Deliciae Ensemble in 2024. Gonzáles-Sierra, educated in Madrid and Barcelona, won 2nd Prize at the Francisco Salinas Organ Competition and serves as organist at the Crypt of the Sagrada Familia. Together, they bring early music to life with historical instrumentation.
