Fringe: Duo Xander Vicente
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2025.
Duo Xander Vicente brings together Spanish flautist Vicente Romero and British-Dutch gambist/cellist Xander Baker. Vicente studies modern and historical flutes at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and performs at festivals such as the Grachtenfestival and Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht. Xander, specialising in historically informed performance on cellos and viols, is in high demand as a continuo, consort, and chamber musician in the Netherlands and the UK.
