Fringe: Izaac Masters
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2025.
Izaac Masters (Australia, 1999) is a fortepianist and researcher at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, studying with Olga Pashchenko. He has won several awards, including the Richard Gill Award, and completed a 2023 master’s in Australia on nineteenth-century piano interpretation. He attended the Forte/Piano Summer Academy (Cornell, USA) and masterclasses in Poland. Supported by an Australian scholarship, he explores historical performance and expressive tempo use on late-eighteenth- and early-nineteenth-century pianos.
