This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2025.

The Cornwall Kim Lute Duo unites two promising lutenists. London-born Augustin Cornwall-Irving brings award-winning artistry and a career spanning recitals for HRH The Prince of Wales to collaborations with leading ensembles. Korean-born Byung ook Kim combines expertise in modern and historical strings, performing internationally on lute, theorbo, and bandora. Together, they explore early music with elegance, precision, and a shared passion for reviving the lute’s rich repertoire.
