Fabulous Fringe: Joan Casabona i Amat

Joan Casabona i Amat (1998) is a historical and modern flautist from Barcelona, based in the Benelux since 2016. After graduating from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, he deepened his study of historical performance practice with Frank Theuns and Anna Besson. In 2023, he founded the Fluctus Ensemble. Joan plays various historical flutes and participates in international festivals and masterclasses, focusing on the sound and melodies of historical instruments.
