Fabulous Fringe: Bislet Barokk & Sean Bell
This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2025.
Bislet Barokk is a breath of fresh air in early music. The trio, trained in Basel, The Hague, and Norway, blends early music with traditional Norwegian folk, led by singer Victoria. Their performances mix concert and theatre with humor and emotion. In 2025, they present 60 children’s concerts in Oslo and launch a series celebrating Oslo’s 400th anniversary, alongside tours in Norway and Iceland.
Sean Bell is a countertenor and performance artist from Oslo, blending early music, opera, and contemporary styles. Also a baroque guitar player, he toured Europe in 2024 with his album Dowland Downloaded, merging classical music and performance art.
