Fringe: Pulse Ensemble

This concert is part of the free fringe programme of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2025.

Pulse Ensemble is a vocal quartet of four childhood friends who started singing together at the Kathedrale Koorschool Utrecht. They specialize in music from the Dutch-speaking area, particularly Utrecht sources, focusing on medieval and Renaissance music. The ensemble researches manuscripts and experiments with polyphonic improvisation. Since 2020, they released the album ‘t Schrickelik Tempeest and performed internationally, including at the Concertgebouw and St. Peter’s Basilica.
