Rien Donkersloot
From the Dom Tower, Rien Donkersloot's focus swings from the court of Louis XIV to Bach's very own library. Couperin's Premier concert royal and musical bird imitations by French masters such as Dornel and Daquin set the tone. The journey continues to the heart of the Bach family with a sublime orchestral suite by Johann Bernard - Johann Sebastian's second cousin - and Vivaldi's Concerto in A minor, in the arrangement of the Thomas Cantor himself.
