Malgosia Fiebig

A summer shower? No: tears of melancholy. They promise to trickle down below the Dom Tower during this concert programme full of hushed emotion, courtesy of Malgosia Fiebig. From Dowland's heartbreaking Pavana Lachrymea through works by Fischer, Biber and Kerll to Monteverdi's Lamento della ninfa, the notes flow over the roofs like waterworks. The beautiful arrangements by Arie Abbenes and Fiebig transform this poetry of sorrow and loss into a goosebump-worthy sound painting.
