Behind-the-scenes tour
With six halls, several plazas, two cafés and now also a small music library, TivoliVredenburg is often referred to as ‘the city within the city’. Ever since this huge eye-catcher opened its doors in 2014, it has also been home to our festival centre during the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht – and that while simultaneously hosting pop concerts and dance nights. How does it work, such a large building hosting multiple events at the same time? And what does it look like behind the scenes? In this behind-the-scenes look, TivoliVredenburg tour guides take you through the history of the building and to places that normally remain behind closed doors.
