ĀRT HOUSE 17
Paris, 1911. The Mona Lisa disappears without a trace from the Louvre. The whole of Europe is captivated by the mystery – even Picasso comes into the picture as a suspect. Two years later, she is offered for sale to the director of the Uffizi in Florence. The festival favourites of ĀRT HOUSE 17 present this spectacular, true story as a sparkling performance with film, acrobatics, humour and early music. A theatrical ode to the most absurd art theft ever.
