The Early Music Hifi Sessions
Harpsichordist and artistic leader of Capriccio Stravagante, Skip Sempé took his first steps in recording with Deutsche Harmonia Mundi, following in the footsteps of his mentor Gustav Leonhardt. Years later, he launched his own label, Paradizo. We talk to Sempé about the role of recorded music in the early music movement and listen to some of his favorite tracks: museum pieces or not? Good to know: Sempé is a walking encyclopedia of historical recordings.
NB: Due to the stairs to the upper floor, the Early Music Hifi Sessions are, unfortunately, not accesible for wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility.
