Clematis
He was Heinrich Schütz's most gifted pupil. A daredevil too, who ventured into unpredictable musical movements. David Pohle: that is the name of the inventor of sonatas which build bridges between Italian virtuosity, French dance rhythms, German counterpoint and stylus fantasticus. The violinist Stéphanie de Failly is at the forefront of Clematis – the top ensemble that recorded Pohle's complete instrumental oeuvre – through this fabulous labyrinth between tradition and vision of the future.
