André Lislevand c.s.
After his acclaimed debut with French court music, the young super-gambist André Lislevand now ventures into the 18th-century German repertoire: beautiful music from the twilight of the viola da gamba. Together with the Duncumb brothers on fortepiano and lute, he unlocks music by C.P.E. Bach, Abel and Beethoven, that balances between tradition and innovation. Lislevand's playing unites youthful freshness with historical finesse: a combination that The Early Music Review described as ‘absolutely on top of his game’.
