Margret Koell
Inspired by the vibrant musical culture of Naples around 1600, this programme explores the wealth of forms, colours and inventiveness of a unique musical era. Under the fingers of Margret Koell will sound works by virtuoso greats such as De Macque, Gesualdo and Trabaci. Dances, variations and toccatas show the harp in all its possibilities – from rhythmic energy to subdued melody. This musical walk through the late Renaissance and early Baroque reveals a world full of fantasy, freedom and play.
