Vittorio Ghielmi, Christoph Urbanetz & Luca Pianca

Did you think Marin Marais' music only sounded elegant? Wrong! Gambist Vittorio Ghielmi delves deep into Marais' world. During his research at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, he discovered unique manuscript codes that reveal Marais' highly refined playing style. This lead to a fresh perspective on French Baroque music, applicable to solo works as well as vocal and orchestral pieces. If anyone can perform Marais' music with flair, it's this trio!
