A Nocte Temporis
In a whirling day-and-night cycle, A Nocte Temporis lets all-rounder Georg Philipp Telemann spar with the brilliant Jean-Philippe Rameau. Telemann's Die Tageszeiten describes each part of the day with a solo voice and carefully chosen instruments – trumpet at dawn, gamba at noon, flutes in the glow of evening, oboes and bassoon at night. Rameau responds with his most evocative opera scenes. German structure and French grandeur: you can call this baroque get-together a ‘sound spectacle’!
In collaboration with Ukrainian sand artist Natalia Moro.
